COCONUT BON-BONS 
1/4 c. melted butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 (14 or 16 oz.) bag coconut

Combine butter, milk, sugar, and coconut. Chill at least 30 minutes. Form into small balls and chill again. Melt chocolate coating (may use melted chocolate chips and paraffin). Dip balls. Put on waxed paper to cool.

NOTE: For Christmas, I use white chocolate and color part of it red and part green.

Add shortening to your chocolate chips when melting them and then you don't need to use wax. I think it's 2 tsps shortening per cup of chocolate chips. It does work because I've used it.
