CRUMB CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. shortening (butter) - get 1 tbsp. from butter used in Crumbs

Cream all ingredients (thick).

CRUMBS:

4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 lb. butter, melted (reserve 1 tbsp. for cake)

Mix all ingredients for crumbs with fork and set aside before you mix ingredients for cake batter. Cream all batter ingredients. Grease and lightly flour a jelly roll pan and spread batter evenly over bottom. Form crumbs and evenly distribute over top of batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle cake with confectioners' sugar before serving.
