SHEPHERD'S PIE 
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
Generous dash crushed thyme leaves
2 tbsp. butter
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed golden mushroom soup
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. cubed cooked beef
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas & carrots, cooked & drained
4 servings prepared instant mashed potatoes

In saucepan, cook onion with thyme in butter until tender; add remaining ingredients except potatoes. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Spoon potatoes around edge of casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot. Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
