TAMALE PIE 
1 lb. ground meat
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1 med. can of tomatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
1 c. grated cheese

TOPPING:

3/4 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 c. cold water

Use iron skillet. Brown meat and onions and bell pepper in 2 tablespoons of bacon grease. Then add tomatoes and corn, let simmer. Cook like mush, cornmeal, salt and water then spread over meat mixture. Put cheese over top and bake in oven until cheese is melted and brown.
