1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. pkg. chocolate kisses

Sift flour, soda and salt together. Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars together. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Shape into 1" balls and roll in sugar.

Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and place kisses in center of cookies.
