2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. orange juice
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped raw apple
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix spices, salt, soda and flour together. Mix sugar, oil, eggs. Add flour mixture and orange juice. Add all other ingredients. Mix well. Cook in tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cover with sauce.

SAUCE:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
