SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
2 pkgs. Italian sausage
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 qt. tomatoes
2 c. water
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Salt & pepper
1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
3 c. (uncooked) ziti or macaroni

Take sausage out of skin. Fry with pepper and onion for 5 minutes. DO NOT DRAIN. Stir in tomatoes, water and paste. Simmer 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Cook pasta. Layer cooked pasta, cheese and sausage. Bake 45 minutes at 400 degrees.
