SAUSAGE ROLL | |
1 lb. hot sausage 1 pkg. pizza dough 2 hard boiled eggs 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese Grated Parmesan cheese Let pizza dough raise for 1 hour at room temperature. Flour work surface and roll out dough as much as possible without tearing it. Fry hot sausage and drain well. Grate Mozzarella cheese or slice thin. Place sausage and Mozzarella cheese on top of entire dough. Chop the hard boiled eggs and place on top evenly. Place the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the eggs. Carefully roll up dough, starting from the narrowest end and keep rolling until it looks like a jelly roll. Place on a lightly oiled cookie sheet with open end down. Pinch ends of roll closed. Shape the dough into a crescent shape. Cut slits in top of the roll about one inch apart and one inch long. Bake until light brown at 350 degrees. Serves 6 to 8. Accts. Rec. |
