SCALLOPED CORN 
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. can whole kernel corn, drained or 1 pkg. frozen corn, cooked & drained
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
Crushed soda crackers

Saute onion in butter until golden. Blend in flour and seasonings; cook until bubbly. Remove from heat. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add corn and egg. Pour into 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Top with crushed cracker crumbs or buttered bread crumbs and two slices bacon.
