“CREOLE CORN BREAD” IS IN:

CREOLE CORN BREAD 
2 cups yellow corn meal
1 cup flour
1 cup sour cream or buttermilk
3 tablespoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup cream style corn
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup melted butter or bacon fat
milk, (if needed)

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Combine all ingredients until well blended. Thin with milk enough to make a thick batter, if needed.

Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.

Bake until golden brown (20 to 30 minutes).

Serve with butter and jam or syrup.
