SOUR CREAM RHUBARB SQUARES 
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter

Grease and flour baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first four ingredients until crumbly, set aside.

1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. rhubarb in 1/2 inch pieces

Mix brown sugar and shortening until light, add egg and mix more. Stir flour, soda, and salt. Add flour and sour cream to sugar and shortening, alternating flour and cream. Stir in rhubarb. Spread in baking pan. Sprinkle topping over top. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Cut into squares when cool. Serve warm or cool. DELICIOUS SERVED WITH ICE CREAM.
