Ginny's Texas Brownies - Recipe

GINNY'S TEXAS BROWNIES

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

2 sticks butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Add hot mixture to flour and sugar.

1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts

(Use 1 tablespoon vinegar and enough milk to make 1/2 cup).

Pour into ungreased jelly roll pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk

1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour hot frosting mixture over hot brownies when come out of oven.
