Onions or green peppers to taste
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. sugar
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. oil (Crisco)
1 c. vinegar

Mix all together in container. Put cucumbers in (cut into serving slices). Add 2 ice cubes in before serving.
