HEARTY BACON CASSEROLE 
1 lb. sliced bacon (or 2 c. chopped ham)
1/2 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. shredded sharp cheese
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) macaroni, cooked

Reserve 4 slices bacon - cut remaining slices crosswise into 1/2 inch slices. Fry until crisp. Remove from pan and add onions to 2 tablespoons drippings. Cook until soft. Combine all ingredients. Pour into 2 quart casserole. Place the reserved bacon on top and bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 4.
