SHRIMP CREOLE 
4 slices bacon
1 chopped onion
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 can tomatoes, mash or put in blender
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 or 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Hot sauce & salt & pepper to taste
2 lbs. sm. fresh shrimp, cleaned & deveined
1/2 stick butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. celery, chopped
1 c. water

Fry bacon until crisp, take up and drain. Add onion, pepper and celery to bacon grease and saute until tender. Add flour, stir until brown. Add tomatoes and paste and water, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, salt and pepper and garlic. In separate pan melt butter, add shrimp. Cook about 10 minutes. Add to other mixture along with crumbled bacon. Cook for 30 minutes slowly, stir often; serve over rice or noodles.
