1 lg. egg or 2 egg whites 2 2/3 c. buttermilk 1 c. flour 1/3 c. oat flour 2/3 c. yellow cornmeal 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. butter (melted) or 2 tbsp. oil If using egg whites, mix everything else together first, then fold in the beaten egg whites. Heat the waffle iron at 375 degrees or between medium and high. Spray with Pam. Bake. |
