GREEN PEA AND ASPARAGUS
CASSEROLE
 
1 sm. jar Old English Cheese
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk (or use juice from asparagus and milk to make 1 1/2 c.)
1 can cut green asparagus
1/2 can small peas
1/3 c. chopped almonds
6 crackers
1 slice bread, cubed

Grease casserole and put in half the crackers. Then half the asparagus, half the peas, half the nuts, and half the sauce. Repeat from crackers to sauce. Garnish with bread crumbs.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until bread cubes are brown and sauce bubbles at the edges. Serves 6.
