1 can tomato soup
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. white vinegar
1 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. Texas Pete hot sauce
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients in a pot and simmer 1 hour. Makes 1 quart of sauce that is good on everything. If you substitute Tabasco hot sauce, reduce the amount used unless you like things VERY spicy.
