SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
Bacon
24 oysters
1/2 c. oyster liquor

Spread bottom of greased baking dish with layer of crumbs, put in 8 oysters add salt and pepper and dot with butter. Repeat, layers of crumbs and oysters having crumbs on top, add milk and oyster liquor. Bake in 350 degree oven 1/2 hour. Serve with crisp bacon.
