GERMAN COLE SLAW 
1 cabbage, finely shredded
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 med. green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
Scant 1/4 c. salad oil
Salt, pepper & celery seed to taste

Heat vinegar, sugar and salad oil to boiling point. Pour over chopped mixed vegetables immediately. Add salt, pepper and lots of celery seed to taste. Let stand, covered, in refrigerator overnight.
