GRATED BROCCOLI STEMS 
6 c. grated broccoli stems (stems from 2 bunches broccoli)
2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp. olive oil
Salt to taste
1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes

Peel and grate broccoli stems. Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat. Add broccoli stems and salt (about 3/8 teaspoon) and saute to coat broccoli with oil. Cover, reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 10-15 minutes. Stir in red pepper flakes and cheese. Serves 6.
