FRUIT CAKE 
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. sour milk
1 c. raisins
1 c. drained pears
1 c. nuts
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together eggs, sugar and butter. Mix and add milk, raisins, pears and nuts. Sift and add flour, soda, vanilla. Put in two greased layer pans.

Bake at 300- 325°F for 1 hour or more until toothpick comes out clean.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 to 2/3 c. flour (enough to make a pudding)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. fruit (raisins, dates, etc.)
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. nuts
6 maraschino cherries
