MEATBALLS DELUXE 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger (mixed with a little sausage)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg
3 slices white bread
Pepper
1 c. milk

Heat milk, soak bread, and add egg and mix. Add to hamburger, onion and seasoning. Mix well. form into balls and roll them in flour. Brown on both sides in hot fat. Cover with tomato juice and simmer for one hour. Add whole onions, carrots, and celery if desired.
