CINNAMON BISCUIT CURLS 
2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco
3/4 c. milk
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. raisins, finely cut

Sift the flour, baking powder, salt into mixing bowl. Cut in Crisco until mixture is fine. Add milk, mixing to soft dough. Knead lightly 20 seconds. Roll dough into a rectangle about 6x18 inches.

Cream butter with sugar and cinnamon and spread on dough. Sprinkle nuts, raisins. Roll like a jelly roll. Cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces and place cut-side down in greased muffin pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
