BISCUIT CINNAMON ROLLS
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. solid shortening
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. butter (about)
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients, then cut in shortening. Make a well in center and add milk all at once. Stir for about 1/2 minute; turn dough out on lightly floured board and knead gently for 1/2 minute more.

Roll out into about an 8 x 12 inch rectangle, spread lightly with butter, then sprinkle with sugar, raisins, nuts and cinnamon. Roll up like a jelly roll, starting from long side. Cut into 12 rolls and place in greased muffin tin. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
