TUNA CROQUETTES | |
2 tbsp. butter or salad oil 4 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt Speck of pepper 2 cans tuna (drained) 1 tsp. onion Mix and cook above ingredients in saucepan until thick. Add 2 cans of drained tuna, some parsley and 1 teaspoon onion to the white sauce. Chill several hours, then shape into logs and roll in bread crumbs. Chill several more hours. Dip logs in a beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs again. Fry in a small amount of grease. Brown quickly. Serve plain or with tartar sauce. |
