1 box chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix cake to directions. Fill cups 2/3 full. Cream cheese with sugar. Beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop 1 teaspoon into each cupcake. Bake as directed. Cool and frost.
