TEXAS PECAN PIE 
1/3 c. butter
1 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped

Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt and vanilla in mixing bowl; beat well. Add eggs; beat until thoroughly blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
