TEXAS PECAN PIE | |
4 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. corn syrup 1 c. chopped pecans 1 tsp. vanilla Pinch of salt 1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the sugar and corn syrup and mix until well blended. Stir in the pecans, vanilla, and salt. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell and bake for 10 minutes in a 425 degree oven. Reduce the heat to 325 degrees and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until the filling is firm and the crust is lightly browned. |
