RED CABBAGE WITH APPLES 
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 sm. head cabbage, shredded
2 tart apples, cubed
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. currant jelly
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. raisins

Melt butter in casserole, add all ingredients except sugar. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender. Add sugar and mix.
