FRUIT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped candied cherries
1 lb. Brazil nuts, chopped
1 lb. dates, chopped
4 slices candied pineapple, chopped
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and rest of ingredients. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Do not over bake. Tastes like fruit cake.
