TURTLE BAR COOKIES | |
1 pkg. Swiss chocolate cake mix 1 bag caramel candy (i.e. Kraft caramels) 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. pecan pieces 2/3 c. evaporated milk 3/4 c. butter Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup milk, and butter until well blended. Place half of batter in 9 x 13 inch oblong pan. Bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. When melted, spread over cake baked cake mixture. Mix chocolate chips and nuts with remaining half of unbaked cake mixture and pour over cake/caramel mixture in oblong pan. Bake an additional 18 and let set before cutting into squares. |
