TURKEY IN-A-BAG 
1 (12 lb.) turkey
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter
1 (24 oz.) loaf bread
Chopped onion to taste
Sage to taste
Pepper to taste
1 c. chopped celery tops
1 egg

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Rub inside of turkey with salt, rub outside with butter. Tear bread in small pieces; add onion, sage, pepper, celery tops and egg. Mix well; stir in enough hot water to moisten. Stuff turkey cavity with part of the dressing. Place remaining dressing in casserole. Place turkey in brown paper bag with seam of bag on top; fasten securely with staples or paper clips. Place on broiler pan. Bake turkey and dressing for 3 hours. Tear bag open; use drippings for gravy. Yield: 15 servings.
