1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 env. taco mix
2 1/2 c. tortilla chips
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can refried beans
2 oz. shredded Cheddar or American cheese

Brown ground beef. Add 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce and taco mix. Stir well. Line the bottom of pan with 2 cups tortilla chips. Spoon meat mix over chips in baking dish.

Combine remaining tomato sauce with refried beans. Spread over meat mix. Sprinkle with remaining chips and cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
