GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar or white
1 c. butter (butter)
2 c. molasses
1 c. sour milk
3 or 4 eggs
4 scant tsp. baking soda (1 tsp. in milk, 3 tsp. in flour)
salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
5 c. flour

Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs next, then remaining ingredients.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
