TURTLE CAKE 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. Kraft caramels
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. Pet evaporated milk
12 or 6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Mix cake according to directions. Pour half of cake batter into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Set aside rest of batter.

Meanwhile, mix caramels, butter and milk in pan; heat until melted. Remove cake from oven and pour caramel mixture on top. Sprinkle on chocolate chips and walnuts. Cover with remaining batter and bake 20 minutes longer at 350 degrees. NO FROSTING NEEDED.
