CAROLINA CORN DOGS 
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
2 tbsp. finely chopped onions
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 lb. frankfurters

Mix for batter. Cut franks in 3 pieces and coat in batter. Deep fat fry until browned.
