TEXAS PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 stick butter

Mix sugar, Karo syrup, well beaten eggs, then add salt, vanilla and melted butter and pecans. Mix well and put in unbaked pie shell. Cook for about 50 minutes at 350 degrees or until firm when shaken.
