SOUTHWESTERN, SHOE PEG CORN 
1 stick butter
2 cans shoe peg corn, drained
1 tsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (7 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter. Add cream cheese and stir over heat until melted. Add corn, chilies, sugar, and salt. Pour into buttered casserole and heat at 350 degrees until bubbly. (Can be cooked on top of stove in a saucepan if you are in a hurry!)
