3 c. diced apples
3 eggs
2 level tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Crisco oil
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. pecans or walnuts

Mix well together and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Use cream cheese frosting.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
2 tbsp. light corn syrup

Beat well. 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and spread on cake.
