FRESH GREEN BEANS 
1 1/2 lbs. green beans
2 1/2 inch sliced salt pork
1 sm. onion
Salt to taste

Snap beans, cut up salt pork in small pieces about 1/4 inch. Quick fry with cut up onions. Use large (3-4 quart) saucepan with 1/2 full of boiling water, with salt. Put in beans and fried salt pork and bacon drippings. Cook until done with top on. Makes 5 - 6 1/2 cup servings.
