Hungarian wax peppers or Santa Anas
OR Red and/or green bell peppers
OR Banana peppers
OR Combination of above (don't use Anaheims)

Stem peppers and remove seeds. In each quart jar put 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, 1 small garlic bud. Fill jar with peppers. Boil together: 1 c. sugar 1 c. water

Pour over peppers in jar and seal.
