FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. chopped raw apples
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix and beat first 8 ingredients. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

GLAZE TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix topping ingredients in a pan, except vanilla. Prick cake with a fork while still warm and pour glaze over cake.
