HOLLY COOKIES 
30 marshmallows (or 4 cups miniature)
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons green food coloring
3 1/2 cups corn flakes
cinnamon candies

Combine marshmallows, butter, vanilla and food coloring in top of a double boiler (or in a big heavy saucepan, my pressure cooker bottom). Heat until marshmallows and butter are melted, stirring frequently. Take from heat and gradually stir in cornflakes and stir until well coated. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Decorate with cinnamon candies. Leave to dry several hours or overnight.

You can also make a wreath using this recipe and can decorate it with cherries and silver sprinkles.
