CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
1/2 pkg. Kraft caramels (24)
1 tbsp. milk
1 (6 oz.) Keebler ready graham crust
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chunky applesauce
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
31/2 c. Cool Whip
Fresh sliced apples

Melt caramels with milk in a small microwaveable bowl at high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir mixture until smooth. Pour into crust, sprinkle with nuts. Cool. Beat cream cheese, sour cream and sugar until smooth. Stir in applesauce, vanilla, and cinnamon. Fold in half of the Cool Whip. Spread mixture over caramel layer in crust. Chill at least 4 hours. Garnish with Cool Whip, apple slices and melted caramel if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
