COUNTRY SKILLET CORN 
2 1/2 c. corn kernels
6 slices bacon
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

In large skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove from skillet and drain. Leave 3 tablespoons of bacon grease in skillet. Add corn, water, sugar, salt and pepper to skillet. Cook stirring frequently 15 to 20 minutes or until corn is tender. Crumble bacon and add to skillet. Cook, stirring about 1 minute.
