CRISPY DRUMSTICKS | |
1/4 c. fine, dry bread crumbs 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. onion powder 1/8 tsp. dried whole marjoram 1/8 tsp. dried whole thyme 1 egg white, lightly beaten 1 tbsp. skim milk 8 chicken drumsticks, skinned (about 1 1/2 lb.) Vegetable cooking spray Combine first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish; stir well. Combine egg white and milk in a small bowl. Dip each drumstick in milk mixture; dredge in bread crumb mixture. Place drumsticks in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done. Yield: 4 servings (196 calories per serving). Protein 28.7; fat 5.8; carbohydrate 5.0; cholesterol 89; iron 1.4; sodium 151; calcium 26. |
