CRISP ONION AND CUKE SALAD 
3 cucumbers peeled and sliced thin
1 lg. onion, peeled and sliced thin
1 c. white vinegar
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. dill weed

Pour over onions, chill. Put cucumbers in bottom of bottom of 1 quart bowl top with sliced, separated onions. Bring to a boil 1 cup white vinegar, 3/4 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 teaspoon dill weed and pour over onions and chill.
