SOUR DOUGH ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
2 c. buttermilk

Mix flour, shortening, soda, salt and sugar. Dissolve yeast and warm water. Add to flour mixture. Add buttermilk. Stir well. Refrigerate and let chill. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick, cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise about 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
