GERMAN POTATO DOUGHNUTS | |
1 c. sugar 3 c. flour 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. butter 1 c. mashed potatoes 3 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 1/2 tsp. salt Mix all together and roll out fairly thick, 1 inch. Cut in 2 or 3 inch strips or regular doughnut shapes. Drop in hot shortening and fry until browned lightly on both sides. Roll or shake powdered sugar on them. |
